Meeting Room Use

The BJFD always enjoys having our community at our stations.  We welcome community groups, organizations and teams to use our facilities to host their events.  While you visit the station for your events we ask that you remember this is an operating and functioning station and workplace for our staff.

We ask that during your event that you remain in the meeting room with access to the restroom facilities only.  We also ask that children under the age of 18 not be allowed in the apparatus bay, hallways, kitchen or dorm areas of the station.  If you have children under the age of 18 we require that they be accompanied by an adult at all times and remain in the meeting room.

The use of our meeting room facility is a first come; first serve venture and suggest you schedule your event as far in advance as possible (minimum of 3 days in advance).

COVID Meeting Room Use Rules - June 1, 2021

The Basil Joint Fire District is please to welcome back our community for use of our facilities for your local meetings, events and special occasions starting 4/1/21.  While we still must maintain the safety of our staff and our community we feel we can open the use of the facilities for our community.  In order to assure that our members and community remain healthy and safe the following items must be adhered to by any group using the facility.

In order to schedule the meeting room you must email Assistant Chief Kasey Farmer at kasey.farmer@basilfire.com (or fill out the form above) to schedule it at least 3 days in advance of the event you wish to have in our meeting room.

A unique access code will be provided to the organizer of the event.  This code will only access the east door at Station 610.  Someone will need to staff the door to allow for others to access the meeting.
